I want everyone to rest assured that there is still plenty of baking happening in my kitchen, especially now that Fall is rolling in and it's the appropriate season for pumpkin.
Pumpkin = my favorite ingredient.
To celebrate the beginning of the season, I made these Frosted Soft Pumpkin Sugar Cookies from A Dash of Sanity. They have a Pumpkin Spiced Buttercream icing on top.
They reminded me more of a cupcake than a cookie because of their softness. I enjoyed this texture but would probably slather even more icing on top the next time around. They received pretty good reviews all around from those that sampled them so it's a recipe worth trying this season.

It's Time to Bake- with Pumpkin, Of Course!
